I am running the Beach to Beacon 10K in support of Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation's mission, in honor of my late husband, Gregory Dow.
Gregory was a passionate and active athlete who, after developing dementia, could no longer walk nor talk. It was deeply important to me that he spent his final years staying active — with dignity and joy.

That’s why I’m asking you to support my efforts by donating to Maine Adaptive, whose mission is to promote year-round education and training for individuals with disabilities. Their programs help people build skills, gain independence, and find joy through active recreation.
If you knew Gregory, you know he dedicated his life to helping others do exactly this!
