On August 2, I'm taking on the TD Beach to Beacon 10K with a purpose: to raise funds for Maine Adaptive.
This important non-profit is the largest year-round recreation program in Maine for adults and children with disabilities, providing over 3,500 lessons annually at little to no cost. Your support helps provide opportunities for individuals to gain confidence, independence, and pure joy through adaptive sports like skiing, snowboarding, cycling, and more.
I'm inspired by my fearless, curious niece, Maddie, who has benefitted from incredible adaptive sports programs in the Massachusetts area. Through these programs, she has learned how to ice skate, bike, ski, and swim. In fundraising for Maine Adaptive, I hope to contribute to a similar mission to the one that Maddie benefitted from.
Please consider supporting Maine Adaptive by making a donation to my page today!
