Being part of the 36th Annual Ski-a-Thorn is very special to me but also my wife,Judy who had been the Program Director at Maine Adaptive for 27 years. What I am most proud of is Maine Adaptive has never charged a dime to provide recreational access to anyone with a special need. From a child with CP to a Vet in a chair, all our services for the thousands of participants hosted have come without a price tag.
This event not only helps raise funds for all of our programs year round but also raises awareness to our program .Every year this event would not be possible without supporters like yourself who make it possible for our program to continue
