In my 10th year as a volunteer, I am back participating in the Annual Ski-A-Thon for Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation. This is a very special cause for me. I became involved in Maine Adaptive through my daughter Adrienne, who is an amputee and learned to ski through the program. Adrienne was a participant in Maine Adaptive for ten years including three years with the race team. She is now 28 years old and living away from Maine. I have taken the opportunity to become an active volunteer with Maine Adaptive and get to help participants learn and practice skiing. It is the most fulfilling thing I do! The volunteers are the best there are - dedicated, caring, and fun. With their dedication numerous persons with disabilities can get outside and be active! Please help me give back to this great cause by considering a donation to our team at my page. Thanks so much for your consideration!
Join us for the 36th Annual Sunday River Ski-A-Thon!
